Job summary

Alliance Home Care LLC seeks a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to join our team. You will provide essential support with personal care, companionship, and daily tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable living environment for clients in their homes.

The role involves assisting with hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and health monitoring, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with mobility, including transfers and ambulation, and ensure a safe environment.
• Prepare and serve meals, following any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organization.
• Provide medication reminders and help with prescribed exercises or therapies.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Respect and maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Adhere to all safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
