Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead the Nursing Department at a life plan community. You will oversee nursing services, develop staffing plans, ensure quality care, and manage documentation and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an Ohio RN license, a nursing degree, and multiple years of supervisory nursing experience, with strong skills in Windows, MS Office, and EMR. Expect collaboration across departments and occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Education Nursing degree from an accredited college, university or vocational school required.
• Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Three years experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility required.
• Five years experience working as a nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility required.
• Six months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates nursing best practices operations related to people, processes, and systems to enhance or improve the care of residents and patients.
• Supervises the Nursing Department at a life plan community and defines performance expectations for staff.
• Develops, maintains, and oversees plans to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinates resident care with other departments to ensure continuity of care and oversees admin responsibilities in the absence of the Administrator.
• Ensures staff adhere to care plans, documentation, and safety policies and attends required training and meetings.
