Job summary

Psychiatric Medical Care, LLC. seeks an Office and Patient Coordinator in Munising, MI for an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The role supports staff, assists Senior Life Solutions patients, and coordinates transportation in a provided vehicle.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, billing, clerical tasks, and care coordination. The position involves care for older adults, with a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm).

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: CNA, MA or LPN preferred.
• Experience: experience in providing care to older adults in hospital or nursing facility environment.
• Experience performing secretarial or clerical duties, working with computers and electronic medical records.
• Good driving record, comfort with transportation and driving a van.
• Experience transporting patients, preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of community resources for older adults, familiarity with medical terminology and medical team roles functioning with other hospital departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate insurance verification and billing procedures as directed.
• Provide clerical support to team members and assist with patient care.
• Assist with transportation for patients using the provided vehicle.
• Maintain medical records, filing and form tracking.
• Assist with census, admissions and vital signs where directed.
• Participate in care coordination, meetings and team communication.
