Job summary

Psychiatric Medical Care, LLC. is seeking a Regional Director to oversee Intensive Outpatient Programs across Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

You will supervise Program Directors, collaborate with hospital leadership, and monitor program performance while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires leadership experience in mental health, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel up to 75% (including overnights).

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Experience in mental health and leadership is preferred
• 4–10 years of management experience is preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel up to 75% with overnights
• Available by phone and e-mail 8:00–17:00 on business days
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Program Directors within the designated region.
• Work with hospital leadership to implement IOPs and manage multiple programs.
• Monitor financial accountability and assist in implementing new programs.
• Maintain regular contact with hospital administration within the region.
• Lead, coach and manage programs via monthly regional calls, on-site visits, and weekly connections.
• Ensure programs meet compliance and training requirements.
• Serve as liaison between programs and PMC leadership.
• Participate in weekly calls with SRD and PMC leadership.
• Partner with hospital HR for staff development and recruitment.
• Serve in a temporary leadership role when vacancies occur.
• Collaborate with hospital executives to monitor operations for ongoing success.
• Coordinate public relations and community education needs with Program Development and Marketing directors
