Mille Lacs Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in a Senior Care Unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and document patient care in the EMR under nursing supervision.

The role requires MN Nursing Assistant registration, CPR, and strong communication with RNs. It follows a 12-hour swing shift schedule, with weekends on rotation, and benefits include health plans and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• MN Nursing Assistant registration required.
• CPR certification required.
• Must understand basic mental health concepts and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.*
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.*
• Document patient care in EMR.*
• Assist in admission and orientation to unit.*
• Support daily activities and therapy sessions.*
• Ensure patient safety and respond to behavioral crises as needed.*
