Job summary

Oakmont Management Group at Ivy Park at La Palma is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in accordance with nursing standards and company policies.

You will maintain confidential medication records, coordinate with pharmacies and physicians, and support residents with daily activities while promoting safety and compassionate care in a premier senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; LVN is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience assisting with medications at an RCFE or similar setting.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings, including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Foster teamwork across departments.
