Job summary

One Senior Care is seeking a Medical Records Scheduler to coordinate participant appointments with precision and care. You will ensure schedules are accurate, communications clear, and processes followed in a calm, organized environment.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-focused, and comfortable with structured tasks. Training and mentorship are provided to grow professionally within our family of senior care services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with frail or elderly population is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Willing to undergo background checks, health screenings, TB test and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage participant appointment requests and schedules.
• Notify participants, caregivers, and POAs of scheduled appointments.
• Complete authorizations and referral documentation accurately.
• Coordinate scheduling, re-scheduling, and follow-up for outside appointments, labs, and imaging.
• Enter encounters for outside appointments in the medical records system.
• Answer phone calls and respond professionally to participant and referral inquiries.
• Communicate scheduling updates with healthcare providers and staff.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to procedures to ensure work is accurate, consistent, and complete.
