Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely in a senior living environment, following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration. You will observe residents, document actions in MAR/TAR in real time, maintain infection control, perform narcotic counts, and keep carts and rooms clean while delivering compassionate care.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting of concerns, and safeguarding resident safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must be 18+.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Preferred experience in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes; monitor symptoms and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards; complete narcotic counts.
• Keep medication carts and rooms clean and organized; document all actions in MAR/TAR in real time.
