The role offers hands-on training, opportunities for career development, and a supportive team. Applicants should have a high school diploma and prior cooking experience; ServSafe certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous cook/food prep experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
