Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.

The role includes inventory support, interacting with residents and staff, and performing other duties as assigned. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience, and may need ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Follow recipes and dietary restrictions accurately.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May require a sanitation course and state-specific certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep the kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests with great service.
• All other duties as assigned.
