Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality, and maintain a clean kitchen while delivering friendly resident interactions.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior cooking experience; ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies may be required.
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
