Job summary

Sanford Health Davenport is hiring a maintenance technician to perform light repairs and cleaning in a large skilled nursing facility. You will follow safety protocols and use hand tools, meters and gauges to keep equipment and spaces in top condition.

You may supervise other mechanics, assist management with scheduling and procedures, and work from blueprints and manuals to diagnose issues and improve reliability across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school or vocational training preferred.
• Five years of experience in building systems preferred.
• If a driver's license is required, maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner.
• Direct and supervise other maintenance mechanics and assist management with department operations.
• Work from blueprints, schematics and technical manuals; ensure quality inspections on work orders.
