Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full-time facilities maintenance professional to perform light maintenance, repairs and cleaning in a patient-resident care environment.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, use of hand tools and measuring devices; familiarity with blueprints and manuals is advantageous. You may supervise other maintenance staff and assist in managing operations and work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school or vocational school preferred.
• Five years of experience in building systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks completed in a safe, professional manner.
• Must possess basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand tools, meters, measuring devices and gauges.
• Ability to work from blueprints, schematics and technical manuals helpful.
• Performs and oversees work quality inspections to ensure work orders meet engineering practices.
• Supervise maintenance staff and support management with hiring, disciplinary actions and evaluations.
