Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Serve Safe certification.
• 1–2 years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience as a Registered Dietitian in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the purchase of food and supplies within budget.
• Provides diet planning and menu formulation for regular and therapeutic diets.
• Ensures meals are nutritious, palatable, and prepared on time.
• Interviews guests and family to obtain diet history.
• Completes the dietary portion of the clinical record.
• Participates in department and care plan conferences.
