Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics with 1–2 years of supervisory experience, and knowledge of MDS and care planning. ServSafe and licensure considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required.
• 1 year minimum as a Dietitian in healthcare or skilled nursing preferred.
• 1–2 years supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and clinical documentation standards.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations governing dietary and nutritional services.

Responsabilités

• Oversees dietary department and supervises staff to meet nutritional needs per standards and regulations.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per organizational policies and laws.
• Participates in department head meetings, Resident at Risk, and interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
• Oversees food and supplies purchasing within budget to cover meals.
• Guides diet planning, menu formulation, preparation and service of regular/therapeutic diets.
• Ensures menus meet resident needs, preferences, and physician orders.
