Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and safety, and work closely with staff and residents to provide excellent dining experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred prior cooking experience. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and sanitation standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food-prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Observe food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by State/County law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
