Right at Home Las Cruces is hiring Homemaker/Companion to support seniors in the local community. The role includes light homemaking, companionship, and basic meal prep, with a focus on compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Must have completed a written Competency Evaluation.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with homemaking tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, and bathrooms.
• Provide companionship and participate in client activities like walks and hobbies.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with grocery shopping as needed.
• Maintain a compassionate attitude while supporting clients and families.
