Job summary

Right at Home Las Cruces is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs. Join a team that serves seniors and adults with disabilities with dignity and compassion. We provide PPE, paid training, and opportunities to grow within a respected home care company.

Responsibilities include transfers, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, personal care, medication reminders, ROM support, dementia care, and companionship. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check is required.
• CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving client within the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuum, dust, clean, do laundry, etc.).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Escort client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.
