Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a Homemaker/Companion in the local community to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. Training will prepare you for the job, and your friendly, professional demeanor will help you build trust with clients and families.

You’ll support daily activities, offer companionship, and maintain a clean, comfortable home environment. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with homemaking activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Spend less than 20% of time on general household work; assist with errands as needed.
• Develop partner-like relationships with clients and accompany them on walks and activities.
