Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in New York state is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide respectful, hands-on elder care and support for residents’ daily living activities.

Expect to escort residents to meals and activities, assist with ADLs, and contribute to overall well-being in a safe, patient, and dignified manner while following nurse guidance and wellness policies. Full-time with one weekend shift per week.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide required.
• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred, assisting with ADLs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
• Follow policies and procedures and directions from nurses and wellness director.
