The Bristal Assisted Living in New York seeks compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care with dignity. Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week; you will help residents with daily living activities and accompany them to meals and social events.

You must hold CNA, Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide certification, speak English, and have experience with geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA, Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide certification.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Geriatric population experience preferred, assisting with ADLs.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish care routines.
• Patient, reliable and caring demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Follow policies and procedures and the Nurse Shift Supervisor’s instructions.
• Maintain safety, comfort and wellbeing of residents.
