Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a meticulous Business Office Manager to oversee financial and administrative operations in a long-term care setting.

You will manage accounts receivable, billing, claims processing, and resident trust funds to ensure accurate financials and compliant operations. In this role you’ll train staff, ensure timely Medicare/HMO submissions by the 5th of each month, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to review admissions, discharges, and payer

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable and general financial processes
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient typing, 10-key, and computer skills
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Compassion for elderly and disabled individuals

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable: maintain records, send collection letters, follow up on past-due balances
• Process monthly private pay billing, post cash deposits, verify details for new admissions
• Submit and follow up on Medicare, MSP, Managed Care, and insurance claims
• Maintain trust fund records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Ensure timely billing: Medicare/HMO claims by the 5th of each month
• Train staff and provide coverage for 3 Deep office backup
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on admissions, discharges, payer changes
• Handle mail, update PCC records, and verify financials for new admissions
