Job summary

The Sheridan at Park Ridge in Johnstown, PA is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support residents with activities of daily living, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.

You will follow the supervisor's schedule, provide emotional and social support, document a daily log, inform the supervisor of any concerns, and protect residents' independence and confidentiality while working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Proficiency in English to perform job duties and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
• Follow the resident needs schedule set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and protect residents' independence, dignity and confidentiality.
