Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assistance with daily living activities for residents in our Nashville community.

The role emphasizes safety, compassionate communication, and teamwork with nursing staff. You will assist with meals, mobility, and personal care while adhering to all policies and confidentiality standards, and you should be prepared for a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals (e.g., HCD, RN/LPN, ED).
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Assists residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Checks on residents and reports status or concerns to appropriate individuals.
• Communicate status, appointments, admissions, and transfers in writing and verbally.
• Support new residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Attend all required in-services and staff meetings.
