Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Riverton, CT is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Associate (RCA) to support seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with daily activities, follow individualized care plans, and document services to uphold residents' dignity and quality of life.

This full-time role requires compassion, teamwork, and flexibility, with shifts 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am. CNA or HHA certification, CPR/First Aid, and confidentiality commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain per policy.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, to ensure resident care.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with the Resident Care Director about care changes.
• Assist residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Perform routine rounds to meet needs per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport ensuring safety and body mechanics.
