Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist in cardiovascular, field-based, to drive adoption and scientific engagement with HCPs. The TAS will maintain deep product knowledge, develop territory plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes scientific rigor, CE^3 usage, and strong selling capabilities within the Cardiovascular portfolio, with field-based responsibilities across the Cleveland West region.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales/MSL/HCP experience.
• Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
• Proven credibility with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in cardiovascular field preferred.
• Strong account management and selling competencies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
• Strong selling and promotional skills with a track record.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications within a defined territory to meet sales targets.
• Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products.
• Maintains high scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepares comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Uses CE^3 and other tools to inform call plans.
• Provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
