Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive catheterization lab. This role serves as a resource to staff and performs scrub duties for left and right heart catheterizations and peripheral interventions.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within 2 years, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
• Certification RCIS/RCES/CEPS or RT(R)CI required within first 2 years of hire; BLS required.
• 1 year minimum invasive cardiovascular technology experience; telemmetry and hemodynamics exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions and catheterizations with minimal assistance.
• Records and monitors hemodynamics and procedure events; maintains documentation accuracy.
• Maintains ECG setup and waveform monitoring; prepares room and ensures equipment readiness.
