Job summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist II at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive procedure arena, focusing on basic diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures.

Under limited supervision, you will scrub for interventions, monitor hemodynamics, document events in MacLab, prepare rooms, and ensure safety equipment is checked and stocked.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in invasive cardiovascular technology or RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI pathways.
• Licensure/certification: RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI within 2 years of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions and catheterizations with minimal or no assistance.
• Maintains ECG setup and rhythm monitoring.
• Records hemodynamics and documents procedure events in MacLab event log.
• Prepares room with staff for safe, effective patient care.
• Performs safety equipment checks and ensures adequate supplies.
• Transports patients as needed.
