Job summary

Amgen seeks a Field Director, Cardiovascular Metabolic MSLs to lead a regional team of Medical Science Liaisons across the South Central US, including TX. You will drive field medical plans, coach performance, and ensure compliant engagement with health care decision makers.

You will collaborate with Global Medical, Sales and Marketing to champion MSL value, recruit and onboard new MSLs, and guide strategic execution of SEPs and congress planning.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with substantial Medical Affairs experience required.
• Bachelor’s with 10+ years Medical Affairs experience and leadership exposure is acceptable.
• Preferred advanced degrees (PharmD/PhD/MD) and broad industry experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of MSLs and coach performance.
• Ensure compliant scientific engagements with health care stakeholders.
• Assist with field medical strategy and SEPs alignment.
• Oversee budget planning and resource allocation regionally.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Global Medical, Field Sales, Value/Access, and Marketing.
