Amgen seeks a Field Director, Cardiovascular Metabolic MSLs for the Central Plains US region (territory UT, AZ, NM, CO, KS, WY, SD, ND). You will manage a regional MSL team, shape field medical strategy, and collaborate with Global Medical, Field Sales, and Marketing to advance Amgen’s objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive Medical Affairs experience, and ability to develop talent, drive performance, and ensure compliant, impactful scientific engagements with key stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Doctorate degree & 4 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Master’s degree & 8 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree & 10 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• 4 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience

Responsabilidades

• Lead a regional team of MSLs towards execution of field medical activities and guide the team to optimize medical strategy.
• Ensure compliant and clinically meaningful scientific engagements with healthcare decision makers and stakeholders.
• Accompany direct reports in meetings to assess proficiency and provide feedback.
• Provide input on field medical strategy, tactical goals, and Scientific Engagement Plans (SEPs).
• Support planning and field medical execution of local, regional, and national congresses.
