Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Field Director, Cardiovascular Metabolic MSLs for the South Central US region. You will lead a regional MSL team, coach on medical strategy, and ensure compliant scientific engagements with health care stakeholders across TX, AR, TN, OK, LA, and MS.

The role requires a Doctorate or equivalent, 4+ years in Medical Affairs, and 4+ years of managerial experience, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4+ years in Medical Affairs.
• Master’s degree and 8+ years in Medical Affairs.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in Medical Affairs.
• 4 years of managerial experience leading teams, projects, or resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of MSLs to execute field medical activities.
• Ensure compliant scientific engagements with health care decision makers and stakeholders.
• Coach and develop direct reports with performance feedback and career growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Medical, Field Sales, Value and Access, and Marketing.
