Job summary

Amgen seeks a Field Director for Cardiovascular Metabolic MSLs in the Central Plains US region, including CO. You lead a regional MSL team, coach performance, and ensure compliant field medical plans align with corporate goals.

Engage with health care stakeholders and foster cross-functional collaboration across Global Medical, Sales, and Marketing. Preferred candidates have doctorates or advanced degrees with managerial experience and a track record in Medical Affairs leadership.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of managerial experience.
• Experience in Medical Affairs and leading teams, projects or resource allocation.
• Strong capability to develop field medical strategy and engagement plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional MSLs to execute field medical activities and optimize strategy.
• Ensure compliant scientific engagements with health care decision makers and stakeholders.
• Coach direct reports and provide timely feedback on performance and growth.
• Coordinate regional MSL meetings for team building and best practice sharing.
• Partner cross-functionally with Global Medical, Field Sales, Value/Access, and Marketing.
• Identify, interview, hire and onboard new MSLs to build a diverse team.
