Job summary

Health First seeks a CV Invasive Specialist Technologist III to deliver advanced patient care in the cath lab across cardiovascular, IR, EP, and neuro-interventional procedures. You will be responsible for procedure performance, documentation, and team training, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires leadership, extensive clinical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with physicians and staff to optimize patient throughput.

Qualifications

• Radiology licensure in Florida (General Radiographer).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure in Florida.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card.
• AHA ACLS Healthcare Provider within 90 days of start date.
• RCIS / RCES / CI / VI certifications.
• CST certification (optional for CST track).
• EMT-P licensure for EMS graduates.
• ARRT RT(R) registration for Radiology Technologists.
• Stroke Scale or NIHSS certifications within 1 year for Neuro Interventional Lab.

Responsibilities

• Promotes interdepartmental relationships and maintains a professional team environment.
• Assists the physician and anticipates equipment needs.
• Recognizes emergencies and implements safety measures.
• Ensures radiation safety for personnel and patients.
• Minimizes exposure to hazardous materials through proper protection.
• Communicates effectively with associates to solve problems.
• Performs cath/interventional procedures and coaches staff.
• Knowledge of drugs/calculations used in the cath lab; manages supplies.
• Optimizes scheduling and informs leadership of issues.
