Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Lead Cardiovascular Tech to assist physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures and circulatory support devices in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role includes evaluating new technologies, following clinical trial protocols, and supporting quality initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Minimum of 3 year prior experience in cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platform.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures and circulatory support devices as indicated (i.e. IABP and Impella).
• Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, adherence to protocols for clinical research trials, and support quality based departmental initiatives.
• Confers with the manager as necessary to improve the functions of Cardiac Cath Lab suites.
