Job summary

AdventHealth’s cardiovascular team in Florida is seeking a qualified professional to operate and support electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures. You will train staff, document outcomes, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate closely with physicians and nurses, monitor patients, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while handling routine and complex imaging tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy.
• Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of health care concepts and procedures.
• Ability to monitor patient vital signs with clinical equipment.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Prepare and position patients and parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications.
• Observe patient during procedures and report abnormalities.
• Follow radiation safety protocols.
• Able to perform imaging and interventional procedures.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures (preferred).
• Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Produce accurate medical records per procedure.
• Train and supervise new personnel.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain secure medical records.
• Demonstrate leadership within the cardiovascular team.
• Respond to scheduled emergency calls.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Verify orders and communicate with physicians.
• Administer treatments and evaluate effectiveness.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
• Respond to clinical emergencies within scope.
