Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a licensed lead invasive specialist to supervise a Cath Lab team, ensuring procedural readiness, quality control, and compliant patient care. The role entails staff development, onboarding, performance reviews, and collaboration with nursing leadership to optimize workflow.

The lead will supervise technologists across invasive cardiovascular and radiology procedures, coordinate scheduling, and participate in quality and system-wide leadership activities.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology School, Cardiovascular Technologist School and/or Diagnostic Cardiovascular OR Medical Sonography School with registry through CCI or ARDMS.
• Associate degree or higher in an applied science; CV professional experience may be required.
• Leadership demonstrated by clinical expertise and team facilitation in a Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises invasive cardiovascular and radiology technicians in procedures.
• Manages staffing levels, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversees orientation, precepting, and learner progress in the Cath Lab.
• Maintains equipment readiness, QC, and safe procedural workflows.
• Ensures patient care, documentation, and post-procedure care compliance.
