Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist in Suffolk County, Long Island to join a physician-led group with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in Cardiology.
• Licensed or eligible for NY State licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered care.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow patient base.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical cardiology care as a leading provider.
• Perform assessments, history taking, exams, and interpretation of tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions with evidence-based care.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, options, and prevention.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams.
• Provide oversight to nurses and support staff.
• Mentor trainees including students and interns.
• Ensure HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS and payer guideline compliance.
• Participate in population health and quality improvement.
