Job summary

GBMC HealthCare seeks an Echocardiography Technologist to operate mult i-modality ultrasound equipment, position patients, and perform echocardiograms for adults, children, and fetuses with an emphasis on image quality.

Under supervision, you will document preliminary findings and support physicians in interpretations. Requirements include a Cardiac Sonography Program or two years of supervised training, CPR, and at least one year of healthcare-related experience.

Qualifications

• Cardiac sonography program or 2 years on-the-job training required.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of health-care social work experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic echocardiography.
• Perform adult and pediatric/fetal echocardiograms including measurements.
• Consult with physicians and maintain case records.
• Ensure proper charge code entry and assist in scheduling examinations.
