Job summary

UCI Health, a major academic health system in California, seeks a Sr. Ultrasound Technologist. You will perform thorough echocardiographic studies, including Doppler and transesophageal echo, and ensure high-quality imaging across multiple clinics.

The role includes rotating shifts, on-call duties, and occasional travel to off-site cardiology locations. Candidates should have ARDMS/CCI certification, at least two years of cardiac ultrasound and adult echocardiology experience, and strong English

Qualifications

• Must possess ARDMS and/or CCI Certification.
• Must have two years experience in cardiac ultrasound.
• Must have two years experience in adult echocardiology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography (M-mode, 2D, 3D, Doppler) and related exams.
• Prepare, position, and operate ultrasound equipment; ensure patient comfort and imaging quality.
• Travel between cardiology off-sites as needed and assist in training fellows/students.
