Job summary

UCI Health in California seeks an experienced Sr. Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive cardiac echocardiography for adult and pediatric patients, including 2D/3D, Doppler, transesophageal echo, and stress studies.

You will tailor exams to optimize image quality and support trainee education. Requirements include ARDMS/CCI certification, at least two years in cardiac ultrasound and adult echocardiology, excellent English communication, and willingness to travel to ambulatory practice

Qualifications

• Must possess ARDMS and/or CCI Certification.
• Two years experience in cardiac ultrasound.
• Two years experience in adult echocardiology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to regularly travel locally to Ambulatory Practice off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of cardiac diagnostic ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients.
• Recognize and describe abnormal findings and tailor exams accordingly.
• Prepare and position patients, adjust equipment, and operate imaging systems.
• Rotate shifts and on-call after hours; assist in training fellows and students.
