Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Sr. Ultrasound Technologist to perform advanced cardiac ultrasound exams for adults and children.

The role includes M-mode, 2D/3D, Doppler, transesophageal echo, and stress echo, with responsibility for image quality and interpretation under supervision. The position requires ARDMS/CCI certification, 2+ years of cardiac ultrasound and adult echocardiography experience, strong English communication, and the ability to travel to ambulatory locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have ARDMS and/or CCI certification.
• Two years experience in cardiac ultrasound.
• Two years experience in adult echocardiography.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of cardiac diagnostic ultrasound procedures for adults and pediatrics.
• Operate fixed and portable imaging systems and adjust equipment for optimal visualization.
• Recognize abnormal findings and tailor the exam to provide a comprehensive study.
• Rotate shifts including after-hours on-call as needed.
• Assist in training fellows and students as assigned.

Skills
