Conviva Care Solutions seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality echocardiograms, communicate with physicians, and monitor patient care across clinics. You will maintain equipment, documentation, and adherence to professional standards while providing patient education and support.

Active RDCS and RCS certifications, an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, and BLS are required. Willingness to travel between Conviva clinics is essential; 40-hour weeks and competitive benefits apply.

Competenze

• Active certification as RDCS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
• Active CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
• Active Echocardiography certification with ARDMS.
• Completed an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Certified Ultrasound Technician with 1+ year of diagnostic facility or hospital experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to travel between clinics.
• TB screening required upon selection.

Mansioni

• Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms with color flow Doppler within 45 minutes using established protocols.
• Communicate with physicians, cardiologists, nurses, sonographers and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct patient assessments and explain echocardiographic procedures while addressing questions.
• Identify normal vs. pathological findings during exams.
• Prepare exam rooms, verify patient identity and follow infection control procedures.
• Evaluate requisitions to ensure proper patient preparation and accuracy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality laws and ethical standards.
• Maintain required ARDMS and/or CCI certifications and BLS.
• Use echo contrast agents when needed.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies and report malfunctions.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide in-service education to staff.
