Humana, Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform and monitor echocardiograms at Conviva Senior Primary Care in Plantation, FL. You will communicate with physicians and colleagues, prepare exam rooms, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.

The role requires RDCS/ RCS certification, BLS, and willingness to travel between clinics. You will contribute to a high-quality patient care team and uphold professional standards.

Competenze

• Active ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification.
• Completed an accredited Ultrasound Technology program with 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic facility or hospital.
• Experience with ultrasound equipment, techniques, and diagnostic protocols.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to travel between clinics.
• TB screening required upon selection.

Mansioni

• Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms with color flow Doppler within 45 minutes.
• Communicate with physicians, cardiologists, nurses, sonographers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Explain the purpose of echocardiographic procedures and address patient questions.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions; support lab accreditation.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure efficient workflow and provide in-service education to staff.
