Job summary

Upgrade, Inc. is seeking a data-driven Sr Manager for Card Credit Risk to lead line management strategy from CLI to CLD and closures. The role combines policy design with data-driven sizing of line changes to optimize returns and balance risk.

You will partner with product, data science, and business teams while owning policy end-to-end in a hybrid setup based in Wilmington or San Francisco. Strong analytic and SQL/Python skills are essential.

Qualifications

5–7+ years in consumer finance or data-driven roles.
Experience with credit line management / CLI in card context.
Strong analytical skills translating data into clear strategic recommendations.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python.
Familiarity with AI-enabled innovation.

Responsibilities

Serve as the SME for Card line management, including CLI, CLD, and closures.
Develop CLI eligibility and increase amount policies balancing revenue and losses.
Own CLD and closure policy with triggers and treatment.
Monitor CLI program performance by segments and dimensions.
Design and deploy policy enhancements using data, trends, and judgment.
Collaborate with data science to develop line assignment models.
Test and iterate on CLI design and performance measures.
Partner with business, product, and marketing for integrated outcomes.
