Shield AI is seeking a Capture Strategy & Operations Sr. Lead for the X-BAT FoS to strengthen strategy, proposal development, and operating rigor of the capture organization.

You will translate leadership direction and customer needs into compelling materials and coordinated execution plans, collaborating across technical, program, business development, finance, legal, and international teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 4+ years; PhD with 2+ years.
• 2+ years in management consulting, capture strategy, or related high-rigor analytical environment.
• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or government pursuits.
• Strong ability to develop and write RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
• Exceptional PowerPoint, written communication, editing, and quality-control skills.
• Ability to develop capture storylines, win themes, and differentiated value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine capture strategies for priority domestic and international pursuits.
• Translate customer priorities into differentiated capture approaches and messaging.
• Create leadership-ready strategy presentations and pursuit-planning materials.
• Lead development of rigorous responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, white papers, and capability statements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to turn inputs into clear customer narratives.
• Ensure materials align with customer requirements and messaging.
• Provide editorial, analytical, and QA for proposals and related materials.
• Support kickoff, content development, reviews, and color-team activities.
