Job summary

Slingshot Aerospace seeks a Lead, Capture & Proposals to build and run enterprise capture and proposal capability. You will transform qualified opportunities into compliant, competitive submissions that maximize win probability, partnering with Revenue, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.

The role requires leading strategy after a pursue decision, aligning content, pricing, and teaming, and building scalable processes across the Growth organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in capture management, proposal management, or related growth roles in defense/aerospace/government tech.
• Experience leading cross-functional pursuit teams and coordinating with primes, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, pricing inputs, and compliant proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture strategy and execution for strategic government, defense, intelligence, civil, commercial, and international pursuits.
• Develop and manage capture plans aligning customer priorities, competition, pricing, and proposal readiness.
• Drive milestones, reviews, and actions to improve probability of win.
• Oversee proposal content to clearly communicate value proposition and customer outcomes.
• Coordinate inputs across Product, Engineering, Programs, Finance, Legal, and leadership.
• Establish repeatable capture processes, libraries, and continuous improvement practices.
