Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Capture Manager in Crane, IN, hybrid work model, with the aim to secure major defense programs for Army and Navy customers. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape win strategies, and drive end-to-end capture efforts from opportunity validation to proposal submission.

The role requires deep expertise in federal procurement, large program captures, and a track record of high-value wins. Travel and stakeholder engagement are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Proven success leading captures and securing large programs (> $50M single-award).
• Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes and contract types.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capture efforts across Army and Navy markets including C5ISR, Aviation, Missiles & Fires.
• Develop winning capture plans with themes, differentiators, and customer messaging.
• Oversee technical and cost proposal development ensuring alignment with requirements.
• Lead cross-functional capture teams and staffing to meet opportunity needs.
• Drive gate reviews, competitive analysis, and lessons learned to optimize processes.
