Job summary

SAIC is seeking a seasoned Capture Manager to drive strategies that secure national defense contracts for Army and Navy programs. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape win themes, and oversee technical and cost proposals to deliver compelling bids.

With a focus on large, multi-disciplinary pursuits, you will guide validation, pricing, and customer engagement to position SAIC for mission-critical wins; travel to targeted locations as needed and mentor capture teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of experience or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven success leading captures and securing large programs, with multiple wins exceeding $50M.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and contract types (e.g., IDIQ, non-IDIQ).
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary capture teams in fast-paced environments.
• Exemplary business development acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding capture goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture strategy development and execution across Army and Navy markets.
• Oversee proposal development, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and cost competitiveness.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across PM, pricing, contracts, and business development for winning bids.
• Engage customers to shape win themes and messaging; manage gate reviews and pricing reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement of capture processes and lessons learned.
