Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Capture Specialist to drive business development in defense and security domains. You will shape capture strategies, develop win themes, and coordinate with account leadership to position solutions.

You will bring 5+ years in capture management or BD, knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and a Bachelor’s degree. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and collaborate across cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in capture management or business development within the defense or security domains.
• Experience with DoD acquisition processes, customer missions, and the federal procurement environment.
• Experience in supporting or contributing to proposals or capture efforts.
• Experience with preparing capture materials or customer engagement documents.
• Knowledge of FAR or DFARS.
• Ability to analyze customer data, competitor information, and market trends.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits and thrive in a fast-paced and high-stakes environment.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Drive capture of business development opportunities, including shaping, proposal, contract start-up, and transition-in.
• Develop capture artifacts such as capture plans, call plans, competitor analysis, and preliminary win strategies.
• Support customer engagement efforts, including shaping outreach, gathering customer insights, and participating in customer meetings alongside account leadership.
• Develop win themes, discriminators, and teaming strategies.
• Partner with solution architects and SMEs to translate customer needs into viable technical and management approaches.
• Support the development of pricing strategies with guidance from pricing and finance teams.
• Coordinate and lead gate reviews, status briefings, action tracking, and documentation needed throughout the capture lifecycle.
• Assist in identifying potential teammates and subcontractors and help manage teaming documentation.
• Facilitate the transition from capture to proposal, ensuring alignment with win strategy and customer priorities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of capture processes, tools, and best practices.
