Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking an Associate Director of Capture Management to lead strategic, high-dollar captures in the Mission Systems arena. You will drive cross-functional teams, shape win strategies, and manage end-to-end capture activities from inception through startup, focusing on large domestic and international opportunities.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, risk assessment, and executive communication, with travel up to 50% and US-based locations such as TX McKinney or VA

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years as a capture manager using Raytheon/Shipley processes.
• Experience on competitive captures over $100M.
• DoD acquisition experience and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and high-dollar captures across Raytheon APS.
• Build long-term customer relationships with key decision makers.
• Develop win strategies, teaming, and POA&M with milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional capture teams across disciplines.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize investments.
• Lead events like Black Hat reviews and Color Team sessions.
• Brief senior leadership on progress, risks, and strategy.
• Ensure accurate capture data in ERPM CRM.
